Industry Experience
Projects
I have been working since 2010 in the Novar Technologies optical products line by as a computer science and software engineering advisor. My tasks include the design and development of the Novar Designer progressive lens design and manufacturing software. Extensive use of C++ and Python for lens design tools and lens manufacturing software for client optical laboratories using Novar technology.
I have been an off-site consultant in 2009-2011 for Gilbarco Veeder-Root as a software engineer in their TLS-450 product, a complete gas station hardware/software solution for gas accounting and dispensing. Technologies used include CORBA and Google GWT. As part of the experience we visited for 3 months their Simsbury, CT, USA headquarters in order to receive training and team building activities.
My first industry experience as a Software Engineer (2005-2009) was in Sielcon LTD, an Argentinian company manufacturing Casino machinery (slot machines, electronic roulette and Bingo). There I gained experience in C++ game development under hard resource constraints and strict security and correctness requirements. I also developed C# server software for multiplayer Bingo.
